NAD Digital SeriesNAD introduces a new series hi-fi equipment in a very special packaging. The D-series is comprised of a number of products which are based on the NAD Direct Digital technology from the Masters-series, but in an exceptionally compact design.
The NAD D 1050 USB DAC is a USB-equipped D/A converter. This USB connection even features the possibility to utilise the high-end clock of the NAD D 1050 USB DAC to control the output signal of the connected equipment. This way, jitter is reduced to a minimum. Other digital sources can also be connected to the DAC, because the NAD D 1050 USB DAC also features digital optical and coaxial connectors. The output signal is available via RCA and balanced XLR terminals.
The NAD D 3020 is an ultra compact stereo amplifier with a wide range of connections. Via digital optical, coaxial, USB and analogue connections, various sources can be connected. Even music from a mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet can be streamed to the NAD D 3020 via Bluetooth. With 30 Watt per channel, the digital amplifiers of the NAD D 3020 deliver more than enough power to control hi-fi loudspeakers.
There are few audio products as versatile as the NAD D 7050, but none are as small as this compact all-rounder. The NAD D 7050 features 2 x 50 Watt amplification for all your digital sources. The amplifier can be controlled via digital optical and coaxial connections, but also offers a number of streaming features. You can stream music from your PC or NAS server via the Ethernet connection. But you can also do so via the integrated Wi-Fi connection or Airplay. When network audio is unavailable, even Bluetooth can be used to listen to music from a mobile device. The device can be controlled via remote control or the smart phone App.
NAD stands for New Acoustic Dimension: a brand that for more than 30 years has been at the top of the wish lists of music and video enthusiasts that set higher standards concerning their hi-fi installation. Why would they explicitly choose NAD? Because NAD hi-fi was specially developed FOR them BY other music fans. And because the AV equipment for film and TV enthusiasts was designed by people who are also besotted with film and TV.
